8 Cambridgeshire pubs in Telegraph's Best Pubs 2026 guide

Eight Cambridgeshire pubs have been featured in the Telegraph's Best Pubs in the UK guide for 2026. The boozers were picked by a panel of experts who judged them on their atmosphere, selection of drinks and community spirit. The 2025 edition of the guide highlighted 500 pubs across England, but it has been expanded to 650 establishments this year to include Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Will Hawkes, The Telegraph’s beer, food and travel journalist, said: "Despite desperate operating conditions, Britain still has hundreds of magnificent pubs, offering warmth, atmosphere, character and fantastic drinks. "This year, we have expanded the guide to cover all of the UK, meaning there are now great pubs to discover from Shetland all the way down to Land’s End. “My colleagues and I have spent the first part of the year scouring the nation to find these magnificent pubs - a truly joyous experience. We're sure that readers will enjoy discovering these amazing pubs as much as we did."
