Two kids are safe after the Lexington Police Department issued an Amber Alert.

A Lexington man is facing charges after a carjacking led to an Amber Alert, according to officials with the Burke County Sheriff's Office.An official with the City of Lexington said the children were taken in a car without permission on Monday morning. Both were found a short time later in Burke County.The suspect, Ja’von Miller, fled the scene in Burke County with the two children, but deputies were able to quickly detain him.
