Anshula Kapoor reveals 90s-inspired wedding reception decor featuring Hrithik tribute

Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai Mumbai, Jul 17: Anshula Kapoor, social media influencer and sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, has shared a glimpse of the unique 1990s-inspired theme that transformed her wedding reception into a nostalgic celebration of childhood memories and Bollywood classics. Posting a video from the reception on Instagram, Anshula explained that while her wedding reflected her roots, the reception was designed to celebrate the personalities and memories that shaped her and her guests. "The wedding was about where we come from. The party was about who we are. If you grew up in the '90s, there was probably something in this room that belonged to your childhood too!" she wrote. The venue featured an array of retro-themed elements, including vintage telephones, film cameras, cassette tapes, neon signs and memorabilia reminiscent of the decade. One of the standout attractions was a special tribute to Hrithik Roshan's debut blockbuster Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, with a cassette of the iconic film displayed as part of the décor. The reception also recreated the charm of old-school entertainment with a candy cart, popcorn station, themed photo booth and several decorative installations inspired by classic Bollywood films from the era. Describing it as "the happiest room we walked into," Anshula expressed gratitude to the team responsible for bringing the nostalgic concept to life. Anshula tied the knot with her longtime partner Rohan Thakkar on July 6 in Mumbai. The wedding was followed by a grand reception attended by several members of the Kapoor family and prominent personalities from the film industry, including Jackie Shroff, Bobby Deol, Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor. Released in 2000, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai marked Hrithik Roshan's debut as a lead actor opposite Ameesha Patel. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film became one of the year's biggest box-office successes and launched both actors to stardom.
