City crews work to contain water main break in NW OKC

Utility crews are working to contain a 6-inch water main break in northwest Oklahoma City. Officials have temporarily closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of Northwest 30th between Western Avenue and North Olie Avenue while crews work to clear the area Thursday afternoon. Approximately 25 customers in the area are expected to experience temporary disruption to water service, but crews are working to minimize the impact. City officials said they expect repair work to be finished by 10 p.m. Lane closures will remain in place until repairs are finished.
