CJP protests: Kangana Ranaut questions Rahul Gandhi over 'security breach'

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the Congress joining the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest over alleged exam irregularities, accusing Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi of attempting to create a security concern by leading demonstrators towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence. Rahul Gandhi made every effort to direct the protesters towards the Prime Minister's residence . Why did he want to steer the protest, which was taking place at Jantar Mantar, towards the PM's house? Kangana said. She further criticised the demand for Prime Minister Modi’s resignation over the NEET controversy, stating that the government was taking steps to address concerns related to examinations. Kangana questioned why the Prime Minister should step down over the issue and said, “He is the most popular leader in the world.” Rahul Gandhi demands apology over police action at CJP protests Kangana’s comments came after Rahul Gandhi, along with Congress leaders including Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Mallikarjun Kharge, joined a protest demanding accountability over alleged exam paper leaks and the concerns raised by students. Rahul later accused the government of using police force against young protesters who were seeking answers. He also demanded that Prime Minister Modi apologise to those affected by the police action during the July 20 protests. The Congress demonstration took place a day after clashes broke out between Delhi Police and supporters of the CJP during the organisation’s Chalo Sansad march. The protest, which saw students demanding action over alleged examination irregularities and calling for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, resulted in several protesters being injured. The aftermath of the clash intensified political debates, with leaders from different parties weighing in on the handling of student demonstrations. Meanwhile, CJP representatives met Union Health Minister JP Nadda and submitted their demands following the protest. The protest site at Jantar Mantar was later cleared, while restrictions under Section 163 remained in parts of central Delhi. Despite the developments, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke continued his sit-in protest, stating that the agitation would continue until their demands were addressed.
