Dangerous weapons seized from Penrith home

Two men are facing dozens of charges after police raided a unit in Penrith. As part of an investigation launched by police, officers executed a search warrant at a unit on Rodley Avenue in Penrith last night. Inside the unit, police located two rifles and ammunition, a shortened rifle, two revolvers, two crossbows and bolts, nunchucks, mace, a high-powered laser device, knuckle-dusters, a throwing knife, a spear gun, ornamental battle axes and daggers, a combat knife, air pistols, air rifles, a number Gel Blasters, cash, and allegedly stolen property. Some of items seized from the unit. “All items were seized and will undergo forensic examination,” a Police spokesperson said. “Two men – aged 27 and 43 – were arrested at the home and taken to Penrith Police Station.” Some of items seized from the unit. The 27-year-old was charged with 59 offences relating to firearms, prohibited weapons, drug supply and dealing with stolen property.
