An e-scooter rider and a teenage driver have been killed in separate overnight road tragedies. Gardaí say that the e-scooter rider, an unidentified man, was killed when he collided with a car in Navan, County Meath at around 1:45am this morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body has been removed to the mortuary at Our Lady's Hospital in Navan. The driver and passenger of the car involved were uninjured in the collision. Elsewhere, an adult teenager has died following a single-vehicle crash in County Tipperary overnight. According to Gardaí, the collision occurred on the L4101 at Lanespark, Ballynonty in Thurles at around 3:45am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was brought to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place. Gardaí have appealed to witnesses of either collision to come forward.
