Only the Jenda to Embangweni section has been completed so far. “We are optimistic that works on the road will resume because the Ministry of Finance has assured us of sourcing funds to complete the Embangweni to Edingeni- Engalaweni stretch,” said Mhango. CR20 site engineer Yue Guang said the company was committed to completing the project within the stated period if government ensures uninterrupted payments. Mzimba South West legislator Khumbo Kachali commended government for the commitment to resume the project, saying it will improve mobility.
