Free transit on BC Day in the Comox Valley Published 2:12 pm Thursday, July 30, 2026 On Aug. 3, leave the car at home and ride the bus for free as BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) will be celebrating BC Day with free transit on all routes. Regular service will operate on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Aug. 3, all routes will be running on a Saturday schedule. There will also be some detours in place for the Nautical Days parade in Comox, so expect some delays. Transit is a great option to get to and from Nautical Days events and around the community to the many summer hot spots.
