Sponsored Post Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is offering a range of free programmes in digital technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing through NW DEPTH, a major cross-border skills initiative funded by PEACEPLUS and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). With opportunities available from QQI Level 6 through to Level 9, (RFQ Level 4 to 7), learners can access industry-relevant qualifications designed to support career entry, career progression, upskilling and reskilling – all at no cost. As the North West continues to strengthen its position as a centre for innovation, technology and digital development, demand is growing for individuals with advanced digital and technical skills across a wide range of sectors. From cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to advanced manufacturing and emerging technologies, employers increasingly require a workforce equipped with the knowledge and expertise needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving economy. Through NW DEPTH, ATU is helping to address this demand by providing accessible pathways for individuals to develop new skills, gain recognised qualifications and prepare for future opportunities. NW DEPTH is led by Atlantic Technological University in partnership with Ulster University, North West Regional College (NWRC) and Donegal Education and Training Board (Donegal ETB). Together, the partners will support more than 2,000 learners through innovative digital skills programmes focused on upskilling and reskilling individuals, helping to strengthen the region's talent pipeline and support inclusive economic growth across the North West and wider PEACEPLUS Programme Area. This initiative is open to eligible learners who live or work within the PEACEPLUS Programme Area, including Northern Ireland and the border counties of Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth. Fully-funded NW DEPTH Programmes at Atlantic Technological University Applications are now open for a range of flexible programmes beginning this September with opportunities for learners at different stages of their educational and professional journey. Programmes include: - Certificate in Digital Skills - Certificate in Using Generative Artificial Intelligence - Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Cybersecurity - Higher Diploma in Science in Computing for Educators - Postgraduate Diploma In Applied AI - Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing - Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Developed to meet current and future workforce needs, these programmes provide practical, future-focused skills in disciplines that are increasingly important to the North West economy.
