Gallery: Plenty to sing about at Letterkenny Gaels' Songo fundraiser!

Letterkenny Gaels enjoyed a night to remember as a club fundraiser turned into a double celebration following the senior men’s Division 3 final victory. The club’s Songo music bingo night at the Silver Tassie Hotel happened to fall on the same day as the team’s win over Naomh Bríd, which secured both the trophy and promotion. "It was written in the stars that it was meant to be a brilliant day and night for Gaeil Leitir Ceanainn," a club spokesperson said. Guests quickly got into the spirit of the event, with prizes, singalongs, dance-offs and plenty of craic filling the Woodland Suite. The celebrations moved up another gear when the victorious players arrived with the cup. “The mood was absolutely electric and the celebrations were mighty,” the spokesperson added. “This special night will certainly go down in club history.” The club thanked everyone who attended, donated prizes, bought raffle tickets or supported the fundraiser, as well as the Silver Tassie staff and the Finance and Fundraising Committee who organised the event.
