Headless body found near Baramunda Bus Stand in Bhubaneswar; police probe underway

"Bhubaneswar: The headless body of an unidentified person was recovered from the road near the Baramunda Bus Stand in Bhubaneswar early on Sunday. According to locals, the body was spotted lying on the road at around 4 am. They immediately informed the police, following which cops reached the spot and began an investigation. Police said the incident appears to be a road accident based on the preliminary investigation. However, they have not ruled out any other possibility and are continuing to examine all angles. Efforts are underway to establish the identity of the deceased. As part of the investigation, police are scrutinising CCTV footage from the surrounding area to reconstruct the sequence of events and determine the exact cause of death."
