Juvenile offender sent to Special Home for two years Hyderabad: A habitual juvenile ahouse burglaries has been ordered to spend two years in the Government Special Home foar Boys by a Hyderabad court. The 16-year-old, identified as a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL), has a criminal history spanning eight property-related cases across Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda police commissionerates. The Hon’ble V Additional Judicial Magistrate at Nampally convicted the juvenile in two burglary cases registered by Lallaguda Police and, on July 23, directed that he be sent to the Government Special Home for Boys at Gajularamaram in Malkajgiri district for a period of two years. According to police, the juvenile trespassed into Railway officers’ residential bungalows in South Lallaguda and allegedly stole cash and other valuables. Based on complaints, Lallaguda police registered a case. B Ravi Kiran, Lalaguda, SHO, said that he was traced after analysing the CCTV footage and other evidence before apprehending him and producing him before the court. “The juvenile had previously been involved in eight property-related offences, including cases of theft and house-breaking registered at Musheerabad, Sanathnagar, Cherlapally, Osmania University City and Lallaguda police stations between 2021 and 2026.” The judgment was delivered in JCC Nos. 130/2026 and 131/2026, with the court finding the juvenile guilty of the offences and ordering his rehabilitation in the Special Home for Boys for two years.
