Key Bureaucratic Change in Odisha: Dr. Poma Tudu Appointed Addl. Secy, Smita Pani New OSMCL MD

The Odisha government has issued fresh orders transferring two IAS officers to new positions as part of routine administrative adjustments. According to the official notification, Dr. Poma Tudu , IAS (PR-2012), who was serving as Managing Director of the Odisha State Medical Corporation Limited (OSMCL) with additional charges as Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and MD of TDCCOL, has been posted as Additional Secretary to the Government in the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare (M&BCW) Department. She will continue to hold the additional charges of Commissioner, Food Safety, Odisha, and MD, TDCCOL. In the second change, Smt. Smita Pani , IAS (NSCS-2020), who was serving in the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of OSMCL . These postings are expected to strengthen governance in the areas of tribal and scheduled caste welfare, minorities and backward classes development, food safety, and medical supply management in the state.
