St. Paul police have a large presence in the Highland Park neighborhood Monday as an investigation is underway. Police have not released information about the circumstances of the case. Crime scene tape is strung up outside Davern Park Apartments on St. Paul Avenue near West Seventh Street. An officer told residents outside they “will be holding the scene for possibly a day or two days” and “unfortunately, no one can go back inside.” They were allowed to go back inside briefly if they needed to get a pet or essential prescription medication.
