Law enforcement finds multiple dogs dead inside Clinton County home; woman arrested

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. — A woman was arrested after law enforcement in Clinton County found multiple dogs dead inside a home on Saturday. According to a release from the Mulberry Police Department, a town marshal responded to a home on Jefferson Road alongside animal control officers to launch an investigation. During the investigation, law enforcement searched the home in question and found multiple dead dogs inside it. Investigators identified the dogs as Great Danes. After law enforcement searched the home, Robin Chestine White was arrested. She was later booked in the Clinton County Jail on a preliminary charge of animal cruelty. The Mulberry Police Department has turned its investigative findings over to the Clinton County Prosecutor's office. CCPO will make final charging decsions in the case. MPD reported that the Clinton County Humane Society and the Clinton County Sheriff's Office assisted with its investigation.
