Majestic McLaughlin helps lead Termon Ladies to Division 1 league title

Termon 2-14 v 1-7 Glenfin Termon have been crowned as champions of the Division 1 Ladies' All-County League. They faced a determined Glenfin side in Lifford this afternoon. Both teams notched a first-half goal as Termon led by just two points at the break, 1-7 to 1-5. But it would be a supreme performance from former Donegal inter-county star Geraldine McLaughlin that made the difference between the sides, as she cut apart the Glenfin defence with pinpoint shooting. McLaughlin scored a remarkable 2-10 in total, her efforts alone out-scoring the opposition's combined effort. That was aided by a second-half defensive shutdown from Termon, as their opposition only notched two scores after the half-time interval.
