Non-Cooperation Order Against Jani Master

The Telugu Film Federation has banned cooperation with choreographer Jani Master until further notice. All 23 affiliated crafts, including dancers, stunt artists, and technicians, must avoid projects featuring him. Producers will also be notified officially. The order follows alleged violations of union rules and anti-union activities by the choreographer. The dispute stems from Tollywood Dancers Association infighting between factions backing Jani Master and Shekhar Master. Association President Sumalatha, Jani’s wife, suspended key EC members and called by-elections. Eight more members resigned, demanding full dissolution and fresh polls. Tensions peaked on July 12 after a clash between Jani and Shekhar. The Federation summoned Jani Master on July 14, but he did not appear. A show-cause notice was issued on July 17 asking for a written reply within seven days. Leaders warned of permanent expulsion for non-response and cited concerns over unilateral decisions using his wife’s position in the association. Jani Master has choreographed major films including Ram Charan’s Peddi. The non-cooperation order could isolate him from upcoming Telugu projects. Past industry disputes were resolved after senior filmmakers intervened.
