The Bermuda Pacers Track Club added one silver and two bronze medals to its tally alongside several personal-best performances at the 2026 Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational at Durham County Memorial Stadium in North Carolina. Orion Medeiros earned the silver medal in the Boys’ 13-14 High Jump with a leap of 1.55 meters [5 feet 1 inch]. Medeiros also competed in the Boys’ 13-14 Long Jump, placing seventh with a best effort of 4.43 meters [14 feet 61⁄2 inches]. Amaya Davis secured her second medal of the meet, earning bronze in the Girls’ 13-14 Long Jump with a personal-best mark of 5.02 meters [16 feet 53⁄4 inches]. Davis previously won silver in the triple jump. In team competition, the Girls’ 9-10 4×100-meter relay team of Giselle Reid-Rubaine, Diamond Morris, Bree Simmons, and Skye Furbert captured the bronze medal with a time of 1:00.53. Several Pacers athletes advanced through preliminary track rounds to qualify for finals: Surii Russell qualified fastest for the Men’s 17-18 400-meter final, winning his preliminary heat in a personal-best 50.18 seconds. Nico Simmons qualified second in both the Boys’ 9-10 100-meter [13.89] and 400-meter [1:06.98] events. Amara Samuel qualified second in the Girls’ 15-16 100-meter in 12.81, while Brianna Lightbourne ran a personal-best 13.30 in the same division. Raelyn Robinson placed third in the Girls’ 8 & Under 100-meter preliminaries in 15.87. Skye Furbert advanced in the Girls’ 9-10 100-meter with a personal-best 14.34, finishing third. Clubmates Giselle Reid-Rubaine [15.24] and Bree Simmons [personal-best 15.31] also posted preliminary times. Jasmine Reid-Rubaine qualified fourth in the Girls’ 13-14 100-meter in 12.98. Jadon Lightbourne advanced in the Boys’ 13-14 100-meter, finishing fifth in 12.31. Tobiah Goodchild reached the Men’s 17-18 1,500-meter final after placing fifth in the preliminaries in 4:45.39. Theodore Smith recorded a time of 15.31 in the Boys’ 9-10 100-meter preliminaries.
