Derek McElhinney is seeking a change of use of part of the retail premises at Ramoghy, Manorcunningham, known locally as McElhinney's Shop. According to documents lodged by the applicant’s architect, he wants permission to sell alcohol “for the benefit of the local people within the village..” Donegal County Council planners are due to make a decision on the application by the end of September.
