Norwich Vicente Nieves, 51, of 36 Melrose Park Road, was charged Friday with second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Luis A. Ithier, 39, of 120 Cliff St., was charged Thursday with possession of drug paraphernalia. Jason Waite, 49, of 148 Williams St., New London, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a license and following too closely. State Police - Montville Gregory D. Stearns, 30, of Mansfield, was charged Tuesday with first-degree failure to appear. Arrieona M. Milton, 24, of Hartford, was charged Wednesday with violating a protective order and disorderly conduct. Thomas McGrath, 30, of Voluntown, was charged Tuesday with possession of a controlled substance and conveying an unauthorized item into a correctional institute. Jacob Ritchie, 30, of Torrington, was charged Tuesday with possession of a controlled substance and conveying an unauthorized item into a correctional institute. Vypatdan Sophan, 34, of Westerly, R.I., was charged Monday with speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive in the proper lane.
