Those involved in deadly Fargo crash identified

FARGO — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of the people involved in a fatal four-vehicle crash that shut down the intersection of Main Avenue and University Drive for several hours Thursday afternoon. The motorcyclist who died was identified as Ronald Huebner, 60, of Mahnomen, Minnesota. ADVERTISEMENT According to the Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 3:21 p.m. Thursday when Huebner, riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson westbound on Main Avenue, failed to stop for a red light at the intersection of University Drive and Main Avenue. He struck the rear of a southbound 2023 Subaru Ascent driven by Kirsten Barton, 53, of Fargo. Huebner was thrown from the motorcycle and struck by a 2023 Ford F-150 driven by Dylan Kangas, 23, of Fargo. The motorcycle then struck a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Sarah Delgado, 20, of Fargo. Huebner, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Sanford Medical Center, where he died from his injuries. None of the other motorists were injured. The Highway Patrol also identified the Subaru passenger as Laura Barton, 67, of Vacaville, California. She also was not injured. All occupants of the other vehicles were wearing seat belts. The crash occurred in wet conditions during light rain and remains under investigation
