WATCH: Investigators give update in Florida infant death case ST. LUCIE COUNTY — St. Lucie County Sheriff's investigators at 11 a.m. July 27 are expected to answer questions regarding the August 2025 death of a 3-month-old boy and the recent arrests of three people in connection with the death. After a lengthy investigation, officials in July 2026 arrested the child's mother, Nicole Maxwell, 27; the child's grandfather, Robert Maxwell, 61; and Vikki Koon, 38, Robert Maxwell's girlfriend, each on charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child abuse.
