Woman arrested for robbing 2 Chandler businesses at gunpoint, police say

Chandler police arrested a woman accused of robbing two stores at gunpoint days apart, using real-time tracking and license plate technology.
CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A woman accused of robbing two Chandler stores at gunpoint this month has been taken into custody. Chandler police said Chalina Harrison first robbed an ampm gas station at gunpoint on July 4. Moments after the robbery, police were tracking her van using the Real Time Crime Center. Police released video on social media Friday of the suspect pointing a gun at an employee and of law enforcement tracking the van. Three days later, license plate recognition technology alerted officers that she had returned to Chandler. Officers said Harrison then robbed another victim at a Big 5 Sporting Goods on Arizona Avenue. She was arrested following that robbery. Harrison is facing two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held on a $150,000 bond. See a spelling or grammatical error in our story?
